Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Dana is a photographer & visual artist whose work is rooted in fashion, music, culture, and the people and subcultures that surround them.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she also minored in Fashion. During her education, she spent time studying in the South of France, further developing her perspective on art, fashion, and visual culture.
Following graduation, Dana moved to New York City to pursue photography professionally. She began her career interning under photographer Kenneth Cappello before going on to work extensively with VICE during her years in Manhattan. Her time in New York immersed her in the worlds of editorial photography, music, fashion, nightlife, and underground culture, all of which helped shape the visual language that continues to influence her work today.
Dana later spent time in Miami, where she further refined her approach to fashion and swimwear photography. Her career continued to evolve across editorial, commercial, and music photography, developing a style that balances raw emotion and authenticity with an elevated editorial aesthetic. Her imagery is often rooted in identity, nostalgia, individuality, and subculture, with a strong emphasis on creating photographs that feel both cinematic and emotionally present.
Her work spans magazine covers, fashion and lifestyle campaigns, music, branded content, portraiture, and artist development. Known for her strong creative direction and ability to adapt to the visual identity of a project, Dana approaches each collaboration with the goal of creating imagery that feels distinctive, culturally relevant, and true to the person, artist, or brand in front of her camera.
Dana currently lives and works in Los Angeles, where she continues to shoot commercial campaigns, fashion, music, editorial, and portraiture while developing personal and fine-art projects. Outside of photography, she spends her free time volunteering on Skid Row to help feed unhoused communities, advocating for animals, and staying active within the fight world and Brazilian jiu-jitsu community.
